From May 1, 2021, by the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 04/02/2021 No. 185, the list of residential premises has been expanded, the payment for electricity supply services in which is charged at subsidized tariffs for the population using a coefficient of 0.85. Previously, the reduction factor was applied only when paying for electricity consumed in apartments in multi-apartment residential buildings that met certain conditions.
Now this coefficient will also be applied when paying for consumed electric energy in single-family houses and apartments in blocked houses. In addition, the list of conditions has been expanded, according to which the 0.85 coefficient will also be used in the calculations when equipping residential premises with an individual balloon installation for supplying liquefied carbon gas for food preparation.
Thus, from May 1, 2021, the payment for electricity supply services will be charged at subsidized tariffs for the population using a coefficient of 0.85 in single-family residential buildings, apartments in blocked and multi-apartment residential buildings, equipped in accordance with the established procedure with a centralized heating system for heating purposes, a centralized heating system. gas supply or an individual cylinder installation for the supply of liquefied hydrocarbon gas for the purpose of food preparation and not equipped in the prescribed manner with electric stoves, centralized hot water supply systems and individual gas water heaters.
The necessary information on living quarters is provided to the energy supplying organization by state bodies and organizations.
Please note that the payment for electricity services is charged at subsidized tariffs for the population in respect of residential premises in which citizens are registered at the place of residence, as well as from payers of housing and communal services (subscribers) who are non-working pensioners who have reached the generally established retirement age, persons who, in accordance with the law, have the right to a discount on payment for electricity supply services, or disabled persons of the III group, registered at the place of stay.
